Nze Kawuma (also known as Herbie Kawuma / Herbie Skarbie) is a Ugandan-born artist and humanitarian based in Norway. My story begins in Uganda, shaped by both hardship and hope, and by the kind of lessons you don’t learn in classrooms, but in survival, responsibility, and community.

Over the years, I’ve used music, dance, and storytelling not just as creative expression, but as a way to lift others. My work has grown into something bigger than performance: a life dedicated to youth empowerment, cultural connection, and practical community support, especially for children who need a chance.

Today, I live between worlds, Uganda and Norway, carrying the same mission in both: to inspire, to teach, and to create impact that lasts.
